At the Polling booth, the miserable snollygoster went up to kiss the little baby & nicked the mother's mobile while she was distracted by his ugly wife. ~~~~~~~~ :-S

Just been reading reports of police having to clear numerous stranded vehicles from the A66 so I'm pleased she had enough sense to check the snow level and return. <3 :-D

I can never seem to make it like she does, so she always makes a special one

I don't blame her for turning back Joy, a few weeks ago when we were
travelling up to Scotland it was so bad...so scarey!! and coming back was
even worse especially with the wind...We are back up there in a few weeks
hopefully it was have all gone by then. Its a lot worse now ....hope everyone
stays safe :-D <3

Had the young un last night and let him have a lie-in cos his school was shut today. His reaction to the closure, 'Yeeeah, great.' <3 :-D

One child took twice as long as usual to get back from Aberdeen - A1M difficult. <3 :-D

Other child set off for Glasgow at teatime - couldn't use the usual route because of A1M problems so set off across the A66. Just through the snow gate, pulled into a lay-by to check the depth of the snow and decided to turn back. Had to slide the car across the next central opening to turn around as she decided to head home while others decided to carry on. (Wonder whether they got there because I wouldn't like to be stuck behind the gates - it's a desolate area.).

She just got back through the snow gate when the gate came down and the road was closed to traffic. Then she sat in a three-hour queue until snow plough came. Same again once she was on the A1M and the police had to clear a way through for the snow plough which they all then followed.

It was 1 am before she got back home.

We had ten inches of snow on our bins.

We've had lightning-thunder snow this morning but the sun is out now.

It's lovely when you're having a pyjama day and the world looks bright and white.
