I awoke bright n breezy at 6.30 because OH was like an elephant traipsing in and out of the bedroom, decided to get an early start...stepped out of bed put me slippers on and trod on me glasses snapping them..I fell asleep reading last night and they must have slid off the bed :-0 :-0 :-0

Off I trots as blind as a bat trying to get a temp pair as my others are bifocals and don’t like them. Blagged my way into M&S early to pick up my turkey early with a sob story as I had an afternoon slot....got in then had to queue to pay :-0 :-0

Driving home V rang see if I would have the kids for a few hours and give them lunch :-0 :-0 Just realised I forgot the bacon and milk, am going to bed at 7pm :-D :-D

Good morning Mersey, Fly and Belle and especially to Flossy. <3 :-D

Feeling much better here - boosted by a great night with sis and her OH. We still got together because she, like me, is laden. The drinks, grub and laughs made us feel much better.

I still haven't got my sense of taste back but I know it won't be long because I feel so much better - coughing and blowing nose only half as much as I was yesterday (too much info there).

I ought to be able to taste the food that I am preparing tomorrow and dtr is preparing on Xmas Day.

Meanwhile, missing my bestie and hoping they recover quickly across there. <3 :-D
