Belle...my poor dad suffered for about a year having this and that test...there were thyroid probs in his family and still they insisted he was borderline and ok. It was only when he had lost 3st and nearly strangled me mother for not putting sugar in his tea that we knew something was amiss. While working nights at the hospital I was having supper with one of the sisters and told her about him...she explained there were further test for thyroid that went beyond the everyday hum drum one they do...he had it done and bingo |
