STEFF EVANS has been on fire for Scarlets of late, and HALLAM AMOS was a breath of fresh air in the Wales side.

Also the stalwart that is ALUN-WYN JONES is taking his rightful place yet again.

Great to see also is the old pairing up of the Ospreys Team- Fly Half DAN BIGGAR (10) and Scrum Half RHYS WEBB (9)

And Wales' former first choice Centre JAMIE ROBERTS is back but on the bench

We are also seeing some of the newer Wales players who proved their worth this time.

GEORGE NORTH IS ALSO COMING HOME TO WALES! :-D

Following 4 years with the English club NORTHAMPTON, George North will be coming home to Wales for next season.

George has signed a DUAL CONTRACT with the WRU, which means he will have a joint contract with Wales and a Welsh Club. The club George will be signed to is yet to be decided.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/42087947

Before playing for Northampton, George played for the Llanelli based SCARLETS. Like Mike Phillips, it was George's first professional Club.

George has won 72 International Caps to date- 69 for Wales and 3 for the British & Irish Lions.

WE WILL WELCOME YOU HOME GEORGE <3

JemimaFawr Report 21 Nov 2017 19:24

YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!:-D :-D :-D :-D

MIKE IS BACK! <3

Former Lions and Wales International MIKE PHILLIPS has come out of retirement to play for my club SCARLETS!!!

Yes he's returning to his first professional club where he played from 2001 - 2005.

I can't tell you how exciting that is to me!!!!
Not only have Scarlets signed up my Hero, LEIGH HALFPENNY, but now MIKEY has agreed to jump into the breach!

Scarlets 1st and 2nd choice Scrum Half's are away with the Wales Squad, and together with injuries, Scarlets were in a bit of a pickle! So Mike came to the rescue

The legendary Scrum Half who won 99 International CAPS (94 for Wales and 5 for Lions) retired from professional rugby following a spell with SALE SHARKS last season. Prior to that he was playing for the French Club Racing Metro 92 based in Paris.

TELEVISION:
Mike has been recently been in a reality series- MIKE PHILLIPS A'R SENGHENYDD SIRENS (Mike Phillips and the Senghenydd Sirens) on S4C.
Senghenydd Sirens are a women's rugby team who Mike mentored and helped them to win their league and promotion to Division 1.

http://beta.s4c.cymru/clic/e_level2.shtml?series_id=538744969

MIKE WILL PLAY HIS FIRST GAME FOR SCARLETS IN THE PRO 14 IN SOUTH AFRICA on Sunday November 26th against SOUTHERN KINGS one of the.two new clubs to the former Pro 12 League.

Also against the other new club CHEETAHS on Saturday December 2nd!

WALES NEWS

Oh dear!!!!!! :-(

Both LIAM WILLIAMS and ALEX CUTHBERT have been injured out of the UNDER ARMOUR SERIES 2017 and have been released back to their respective clubs.....

....... AND IT'S THE ALL BLACKS NEXT!!!!!! :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

Wales' Full Back/Winger, LIAM WILLIAMS, sustained an abdominal injury during Wales' winning game v Georgia last Saturday.

A HUGE LOSS TO WALES
Liam will not be fit in time for Wales' game v New Zealand on Saturday.
He will also not be available for Wales' final International game v South Africa the following week as he is expected back to play for his English Club SARACENS.

ALEX CUTHBERT was also injured during Wales' game last Saturday. He sustained a calf injury.

ALSO IN DOUBT
There is also major concern over whether Tighthead Prop (3) SAMSON LEE will be fit . He sustained an Achilles tendon injury and it will be touch and go on whether he will be match fit in time.

BETTER NEWS
JUSTIN TIPURIC, who had a thigh injury, is back in training. He is expected to be fit for selection. At least that's one bit of good news for Wales and their fans.

From WalesOnline:

"KEN OWEN'S REACTION TO THE INJURY BLOWS:

We’ve just caught up with Ken Owens at Wales HQ. Here’s what he had to say about the injuries.

It’s hugely disappointing to lose the players we have because they’re absolute quality. It’s opportunity as well. Some boys are going to get a chance against the best opposition in the world. There’s still talent and quality in the squad. We’ve just got to back what we’ve got and take the opportunity that’s there. Going forward, it could be a huge positive for us"
