JemimaFawr Report 25 Nov 2017 17:08

Jem’s Gems....
SCOTT WILLIAMS

When Scott Williams steps out on the field with the Wales Team to face the All Blacks this afternoon, Scott will have won his 50TH WALES CAP!

Scott, who was born in Carmarthen, has represented Wales in the Under 16s, Under 18s and Under 20s, before being chosen to represent Wales at Senior Level in 2011.

He has earned 49 Caps to date, so today will be a landmark in his International Career.

Originally left out of the Wales Squad this time, Scott was drafted in and chosen to replace the World Class Centre, JONATHAN DAVIES, who was injured out of the Autumn Series. Scott’s normal playing position is Inside Centre (12) but can also play Outside Centre (13) which is the position he will play today.

At Club level, Scott plays for my team THE SCARLETS, and has earned 85 Caps and put 72 Points on the Scoreboard for them to date.

STATISTICS:
Name: Scott Williams
Born: Carmarthen, South West Wales on October 10th 1990
Height: 6 Foot
Weight: 15 Stone 4 lbs

CONGRATULATIONS TO SCOTT ON THIS GREAT ACHIEVEMENT!

SO WHAT DOES JONATHAN JIFFY DAVIES PREDICT FOR THIS GAME?

On his Chat show Jonathan last night he predicted a win for New Zealand by 17 points.

Co-Presenter and Top Referee NIGEL OWENS said "Cymru'n ennill - Wales will win" :-D

Guest- ARWEL JONES (Son of Ryan Jones, actor (Pobl Y Cwm) Singer, Song-writer, Musician and Composer) Said his heart says Wales but he thinks it'll be New Zealand.

Guest- Former Wales Women Rugby International, now Pitchside Commentator CARYL JAMES- New Zealand will win 39 - 20

THE ANTHEMS FOR THE SING-A-LONG

GOD DEFEND NEW ZEALAND

The anthem has English and Maori lyrics, with slightly different meanings. When performed in public, the usual practice is to sing the first verse in both Maori and English.

Maori verse: "Aotearoa"
E Ihowa Atua,
O nga iwi matou ra
Ata whakarangona;
Me aroha noa
Kia hua ko te pai;
Kia tau to atawhai;
Manaakitia mai
Aotearoa

English translation (Karetu)

Lord, God over yonder,
Of all our nations
Listen to us gently,
With the infinite love
May the goodness bear fruit;
May your kindness come;
Please give protection to
Aotearoa

English verse: "God Defend New Zealand"

God of Nations at Thy feet,
In the bonds of love we meet,
Hear our voices, we entreat,
God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific's triple star
From the shafts of strife and war,
Make her praises heard afar,
God defend New Zealand.

WALES ~ MAE HEN WLAD FY NHADAU (Match Version)

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mad,
Dros ryddid collasant eu gwaed

Gwlad, gwlad,
pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

Gwlad, gwlad,
pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

TMO

Was that a deliberate knock on of the ball in to touch by Australian Kurtley Beale?

It would be deemed Intentional; Prevention of a Try
