Don't know where English/Irish blood went. My gran and an aunt (paternal side) were only 4 ft 8 and my dad was only 5 ft 11/2, mum was 1 inch taller at 5 ft 21/2 ins. :-0

But I realised I have a huge amount of Norman Blood .... even from some of my Welsh side lol!

My Mum was English ... and the height comes from that side. Her Dad was 6'4" :-D

I was 5 ft 10 when I was younger but only on one leg. I'm shorter on the other leg and I've shrunk a little lol :-D :-D :-D

OH isn't too big at 5 ft 91/2 but that's 101/2 ins bigger than I am. :-S

My mother was tall and had a very short friend.
She would walk in the gutter and her friend would walk on the payment.
They used to call them "The Long and Short of it" :-D :-D :-D

He was just feeling it as we left the restaurant but then again he has been out hedge cutting today. I did go and collect up the cuttings so he wouldn't have to bend too much. He keeps telling me I'm much closer to the floor than he is. :-D

It was terrible had to struggle to do it. ;-) I didn't like volunteering but no one else seemed able to understand the umpires signals. :-0

Yes I do, it's handy for quizzes. :-D

Came in handy when in the WRAF as the apprentices needed a scorer so I had to do it, such a shame, me 18 yrs old having to watch 22 young men :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
