RUGBY UNION NEWS
WALES' JONATHAN DAVIES IS INJURED OUT! :-( :-( :-(
Wales Centre, Jonathan Davies (13) has been injured out of this year's Autumn internationals.
In fact, he will miss the 2018 SIX NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP and most of his domestic season with his club the LLANELLI based SCARLETS!
Jonathan, who sustained a serious foot injury during Wales' first game of the Autumn Series (against Australia) has been told he will need an operation on his foot, and that he will be unable to play for at least 6 months.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/41957849
This will be a huge blow for Wales! Jonathan is not only First Choice 13 for Wales ( his position never in question) but was voted MAN OF THE SERIES for the BRITISH & IRISH LIONS TOUR 2017.
GUTTED! :-(
Jem and all the Gang on The Rugby Thread wish Jonathan a speedy recovery <3

MORE WALES RUGBY UNION NEWS
JAMIE ROBERTS IS BACK! <3 :-D
Wales' former First Choice Inside Centre (12) Jamie Roberts .... sorry Doctor Jamie Roberts ;-) has been called up to the Wales Squad. :-) Jamie currently plays for HARLEQUINS at club level.
It looks as though there will be a jiggling about of positions to cover the absence of Wales' Outside Centre (13) Jonathan Davies.
Jamie was left out of the Wales Squad this year. When discussing the situation with Sam Warburton on TV recently, they said that they were both gutted at being left out ... Sam because he's injured again and Jamie because he's "too old!"
WELL I DON'T THINK SO! Welcome back Jamie! :-) Jaaiiimieeeee ..... Jaaiiimieeeee ...... Jaaiiimieeeee ;-) ;-) :-D :-D :-D
Also called up to the Wales Squad is Prop SCOTT ANDREWS. Scott is currently with Bath on loan from Cardiff BLUES.

Here's the news that all Wales Fans have been waiting for
GATLAND HAS ANNOUNCED HIS WALES LINEUP v GEORGIA
We have a New Captain : DAN LYDIATE
WALES <3
Backs: 15. Liam Williams 14. Alex Cuthbert 13. Scott Williams 12. Owen Watkin 11. Hallam Amos 10. Rhys Priestland 9. Rhys Webb
Forwards: 1. Nicky Smith 2. Kristian Dacey 3. Leon Brown 4.Cory Hill 5. Adam Beard 6. Dan Lydiate (Captain) 7. Sam Cross 8. Seb Davies
Replacements: 16. Elliot Dee (*UNCAPPED) 17. Wyn Jones 18. Tomas Francis 19. Josh Navidi 20. Taulupe Faletau 21. Aled Davies 22. Dan Biggar 23. Owen Williams
WOW! :-0 :-D
It's a New Look Wales team this week. Full of young fresh faces and legs!
Back from the wilderness is Wales former Kicker RHYS PRIESTLAND. Some of you may remember that Rhys was an excellent Fly Half (10), but when it came to kicking for Wales he had some kind of psychological issues. Rhys kicked well for his club (Scarlets at that time) but went to pieces for Wales. It was this issue that led to the ascendancy of LEIGH HALFPENNY and DAN BIGGAR.
Well Rhys is now playing for BATH, and has come on in leaps and bounds since then.
Also "in from the cold" again at Right Wing (14) is ALEX CUTHBERT.
SCOTT WILLIAMS, who was originally left out of the Wales Squad, has been given the injured Jonathan Davies' position of 13. Owen Watkins takes the number 12 position.
Great to see World Class SCRUM HALF RHYS WEBB (9) back from injury.
NO LEIGH HALFPENNY THIS TIME!
LIAM WILLIAMS takes Leigh's place at Full Back (15) It's Liam's preferred playing position - the position he plays for his club- (The English Club Saracens now since leaving Llanelli Scarlets at the end of last season)
Many rugby experts have been calling for this for ages, as Liam is a "game changer" at 15. But Gatland has preferred to use Leigh at 15 (it's also Leigh's playing position) because of his phenomenal kicking skills.
Wales Stalwart and last week's Captain- ALUN-WYN JONES- is on the bench, as are other "Old Favourites" DAN BIGGAR and TAULUPE FALETAU.
WELL WE WILL WAIT TO SEE WHAT THIS FRESH YOUNG TEAM WILL DO ON SATURDAY! :-) :-) :-) :-)
Saturday November 18th WALES <3 v GEORGIA ........ Kick Off 2.30pm
LIVE TV: BBC 1, S4C Live Radio: BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru, BBC Radio5Live Sports Extra
Please join us here to cheer Wales on <3
