Billionaire U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Thursday he does not want the $400,000 annual salary that comes with the White House job and would turn it down if elected. |

I am not saying he is the perfect candidate to run the US but the people have chosen him and that's that! |

It was very obvious who they were. I'm not naïve and don't need lessons on what the media can be like, thanks. It was a UK TV crew, not American. |

As my son tells me, do not believe anyone you see on US TV is genuine unless they show the interviewer their a) Social Security Number b) drivers license c) tax return lolol and scarily he may be right. |

Okay well what I meant was if the TV crews had asked the right people they would have got that answer too....like the BBC etc the US news is very bias when it wants to be and you as the viewer only see what they want you to see. Yes you have friends in the US but again they only see what they see. There is no way there isn't some supporter of Hillary who is a nutter too. Reporters/pollsters/whom ever can pick and choose who they want to show/report on. |

I'm not. I haven't seen or heard them say so, and I think it would have been reported if they had made the same sort of threats at the Trumpers. |

Well I'm sure some of her supporters would say the same thing too !! |

But it was Trump supporters who said they'd storm the White House armed, not Hillary's. |

Again.....there are plenty of people with guns that support Hillary......it's always dangerous times in the US as far as guns go. |

Guinevere | Report | 10 Nov 2016 14:53 |
I'm a bit concerned about how the gun crazies will react when he doesn't keep his promises. They were threatening to storm the White House if Hillary won. |

Yes, I believe something like 49.6 % didn't vote and in all honestly mostly because they liked neither person...sad because usually you can support someone enough to bother voting. |

Regarding the turnout, according to this link, the percentage who voted in 2012 was 58.6% |

"The single most serious illness infecting the body politic in the UK, or elsewhere, is the philosophy – if one can call it that – which says "Why bother voting. We can't change anything". |
