Emma, good to hear about Ollie. You'll all rest easier now.

I thought you would have been to Port Sunlight Ann.

We were there in April. My cousins, K and I took the train from Bache.

Belle, it's built along similar lines to Bournville.

Ann, salad cos that's your vegies and fruit (tomato) and jam doughnut for another fruit towards your five-a-day, isn't that how it works. Now if you'd had mushies that would have been another. :-D

Using fingers now 2 in salad, 1 in jam ..... have a cider Ann and that's another one to count (apple).

I knows how it goes ya know.

;-) :-D

Yes it's a lovely place...Last year I was helping a friend do some FH and took a trip to the church to locate some headstones. His family lived in some of the houses there because they were Lever workers.....the planning of the village I think was way ahead of its time, also all the benefits for the workers.....to come from the back to backs of Merseyside and other over crowded places to work and live there must have been wonderful :-)

Emma, a helluva lot better than Londonderry and other mine owners looked after theirs.

'Emma' Report 28 Sep 2016 19:23

Well girls, I am going to put the kettle on and settle down for Corrie.

One thing I'll say, I'm pleased I didn't have a bump when I was out in me jammies. That would have impressed K no end. :-0

Night night all. <3 :-D
