Dermot, very similar to Bland Justice when it comes to legal decisions.

Bland Faith - used only at church on Sundays when the collection plate is handed around.

Well for anyone who clicks on the link, the nature of the thread will change from bland to, possibly, controversial, but as it is my Thread I can take the occasional walk on the wild side ;-) :-D :-D

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 15 Sep 2016 22:52

you do like to walk on the wild side Allan

Allan

Allan Report 15 Sep 2016 22:50

I'm a man of parts, AnnC. Most of them are together at the moment, but on several occasions my OH has intimated that that may not always be the case :-0 :-D :-D :-D

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 15 Sep 2016 10:37

blandaging skills as well as so many other talents ;-)

Allan

Allan Report 14 Sep 2016 23:53

OH cut herself the other day and I had to put a blandage on the wound.

Well, it was a slight nick to her throat, but by the time I had finished blandaging it she could have passed as a smurf :-D

Allan

Allan Report 14 Sep 2016 23:02

I must have been, unknowingly, gargling with broken glass :-S

My throat is raw, and my cough is now perfect because I've had so much practice.

I should have been going to an ex-work colleague's funeral later today and even though the service is to be held in the Funeral Home rather than graveside or at the Crem, I've decided not to attend.

The Funeral Director will be disappointed, as I'm sure that if I went and infected many others, his business would have boomed over the next few weeks! ;-)

I shall self-medicate my sore throat by means of honey, lemon juice and hot water mixed in with large whiskies.

At least after seeing the Superannuation people yesterday, I can still afford the whisky :-D :-D

Allan

Allan Report 14 Sep 2016 15:17

not ablandoned, Joylouise, but nearly so!

After a perfect morning journey, this evening's train arrived late. Just as everyone was about to board, the boarding steps were removed and the train (all two carriages of it), reversed out of the station only to reappear half an hour later :-0

Apparently, one of the two carriages had to be replaced :-|

Arrived in Bunbury at just after nine tonight, tired, cold and miserable.

Just a normal day.

Spent part of the day looking around Elizabeth Quays, supposedly an International Tourist spot.

Just a vast costruction site, with very few (3) retail outlets and a kiddies water-playground that was closed after two days because of water contamination, and remains closed :-|
