Well, the ugly truth will out in October, Caroline :-(

I noticed that on the regular blood screening tests I have done every six months, the Dr sneakily has included a liver function test :-|

I am asked at the check ups how much I drink and I usually reply 'a couple of glasses.', but no one has asked the size of the glass! :-D :-D

Hi Allan I know what you mean,when I was on the boards before I rejoined again there were a few nasty posters around then, I personally was on the receiving end of someone's idea of fun :-( :-D

When I started this thread I may have had a little too much to drink, but I was fed up with many of the threads at the time with posts having a personal dig at people, and, like topsy, the thread just growed and growed :-D :-D

The family are all fine.

I didn't take part in any of the main commemorations but the organisation I belong to, held its own service on the Tuesday which was well attended. We have many ex-servicemen among our members.
