The lines wet down immediately after the show but worked fine about 10 mins later. :-D.
I think the final choice will be between the two men.
I love Claudia but fear she will go this week. :-(

Apparently there was some muck up in the voting last night. The lines went down on something.

:-( :-( :-(

I really think it should be Louise & Claudia in the dance off.

Danny & Ore to go through.

I loved the Argentine Tango & the American Smooth.

I totally disliked the Samba/Salsa things last night and Claudia's Rumba was plain tame.

Out of the 2 I would prefer to get rid of Louise but I think its going to be Claudia unfortunately if the judges get their way.

I have no idea what kind of hold Louise has over the BBC or is it Kevin. Whatever happens those 2 are always number 1 or the first to be called out.

It would be interesting if she did get through as its the audience that do the final isn't it.

Louise and Claudia in the dance off for me

I am wondering now if Louise will be in the dance off, not sure who with though.

Only one week to go until the final.

I think it may be Ore and Claudia in the Dance Off. With Ore to go.

Getting too tight to call now.

This weeks offerings

Here's a rundown of those all important routines!

Claudia and AJ will be dancing the Rumba to ‘Bleeding Love’ by Leona Lewis and the Quickstep to ‘When You’re Smiling’ by Andy Williams

Danny and Oti will be dancing the Salsa to the track ‘Vivir Mi’ Vida by Marc Anthony and the American Smooth to ‘Misty Blue’ by Dorothy Moore

Louise and Kevin will be dancing the Samba to ‘Brazil’ by Thiago Thomé and the Tango to ‘Glad All Over’ by the Dave Clark Five

Ore and Joanne will be dancing the Quickstep to ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl?’ by Jet and the Argentine Tango to ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head’ by Kylie Minogue

I liked Anton's stint too.....he's a natural. Kevin and his sister both seem to be a bit pushy to me. I hated the backing dancers......they distract and get in the way.

Judge Rinder was as gracious and charming as ever MWAH <3, but it was right he should go.

I still want Danny to win as he is good at all the dances and his body is so bendy.....ooer!! Claudia is very impressive though and all those remaining are very good.

I didn't like Tess's little black number she was wearing. It looked as if she hadn't finished putting it on the way it was skewed at the top!!

Hello? Just watching Takes Two.

Zoe asking if Kevin could make it to the final for the fourth year running.

Ian Waite said he hoped so.

Hmmmmm.

Elaine Page was speaking more than singing on Sunday(Saturday) .

I love her songs and do like listening to her - trouble is they are all getting a bit past it now - EP - the divine Bette & poor old Dolly - but she still gives it a go.

Only one who seems to keep going & still strong in voice is Barbra Streisand - even Cliff has lost the plot a bit.

I do wonder if its the acoustics in the venue as some of the singers sound a bit off.

Paul McCartney was awful at the Queens gala .

I think Kevin is very full of himself this year - would do him good to be voted out.

I listen to EP on Sunday when I am cooking dinner.

Funnily enough when there are two versions of a song, including her own, she always plays herself.

I thought she was wavering on Sunday, and she struggled to reach some of the high notes. Her voice was not as powerful as it used to be.

You know,I agree about Elaine Page.

I can perhaps be extra critical as I know my music.

She has a good voice, but she was off key a few times ,...and her timing wasn't always right to accompany the dancers. She used to be good, but is getting past it now.
If she had been singing and no dancers .the band would follow the way she was interpreting the number, but in this case it should be in strict time.

I also think that the extra dancers aren't necessary and in Ores dance they were OTT
.
I quite like Louise and maybe Kevin has got a bit big headed, but like everyone else think Danny should win.

Robert really enjoyed the experience didn't he?...and does get emotional!

MTG I thought Elaine Paige was past her best, used to love her voice but I think she should know when to either give up or not choose difficult to sing songs.

I still think Danny would be a worthy winner, shame for Louise because I like her, but I don't want Kevin to win his head is big enough now.

I agree with MowtonGal
Kevin bugs me too and I would just LOVE to see his sister and Ore win instead.
Go, Go, Ore and Joanne !

I think the overly handsome, bucket loads of everything Danny will win.

Interesting the piece in The Guardian.

I still think it will be Ore next week. Not that he is bad, he isn't. Considering that he is no dance school graduate. Louise went to Stage School, so she was used to the training I think.

Yep old Kevin is doing my head in. All that fist-pumping, shouting, dropping to his knees when they are put through. Then he is always first down the stairs, and they do that dopey kick at the end of the Introduction.

Don't forget his parents were professional dancers and in competitions in the 60's. He must know some of the judges.

I think he and Karen are being groomed to be the forefront dancers. They more often than not do the spotlight dance to the singing spot.

By the way, did anyone else think that Elaine Page was struggling a bit?

Tabitha

Tabitha Report 5 Dec 2016 13:15

I think the FB page may have been a priovate one just for a few friends - but it was on google as well.

The Guardian critics have also noticed Louise
https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2016/dec/05/strictly-come-dancing-the-final-is-a-foregone-conclusion

"To be honest, though, it was hard to judge anyone this week as they were all overshadowed by the ridiculous blow-the-budget production values of Musicals Week. I so disagreed with Len about the backing dancers in Danny Mac’s number. They didn’t enhance it; they made it look like a front-facing conga. The contestants are the stars – let’s see them dance without the extras."

"The usual over-praising of Louise: " etc etc

all in all i loved this review

I think they should kick out Louise next week - her & Kevin got on my nerves this week - very twee & as for Jo she was such a little madam in the dance off - her face was a picture.

I would still like it to be Ore - Claudia & Danny

I really didn't like the extra dancers even the ones with the tango were a distraction.

They need to ditch them when the celebs are doing their thing.

I loved Anton doing his song & dance bit & the girls weren't bad on the New York - New York routine. .

I thought for a minute that maybe the public would
save the judge, that would have put the cat amongst
the pigeons

I think we all knew it would be Judge this week. I also think he was very generous in his praise and he was charming.

I do think it will be Ore next week though.

I also did not like the backing dancers again this week. The only time it worked was when they shadowed Mr Handsome.

Those twirling flowers did my head in.
