OK so I am gonna be Devil's Advocate here, and I am passing no comment at all.

The operation that Anastasia had was one of the more extreme procedures. It involves, as I understand it, having muscle taken from her back, and flipped around to form breast tissue. So she has scars on her back and her chest. I imagine that she needs a deal of time for that to heal properly. I also imagine that she has to be careful about what she does, and how violently.

Thus saying, I think she is extremely brave to take part in Strictly, and she also said she would be donating her fee to a Breast Cancer Charity.

So far, all being equal.

However, I cannot quite get my head around the kerfuffle, on the show, when she did not dance.

Tess said that the results were in, and the winner/loser had been decided.

SO. This being the case. WHY is there a dance-off every week?

AND. Why do the judges need to say whether or not the contestant can go through?

They may as well cut out the Sunday show, and announce the results later on Saturday, say just before Match of the Day.

If they did that - they would lose out on money & opportunity to be on TV again for ratings.

Also sure they make money from the telephone calls as well. Plus they do a singing & dancing spot for the "Sunday" show to showcase latest songs for select artists & looks good to showcase the specific dancers.

They like to try & capture the audience

I am still not comfortable when they have a group/singer come on, and then a pair of dancers go into a routine.

Let the poor souls have THEIR moment of glory and let them sing!

The dancers do a woop-d-doo and the audience start clapping and whooping and the singer cannot be heard. Weird to me!

Maybe Lesley or Ed this week, unless someone else dies on their feet.

My two least favourites are in it for the long term I fear.

Yes, I don't like the singer spot with the dancers either..........never know which to watch for one thing and the dancers always look to me as if they are trying to steal the limelight.

Claudia's childish fooling around is beginning to grate.....just not funny and out of keeping with the rest of the show.

Good show this week. Third week and nines awarded, even by Craig! :-D

Really good show tonight - very had to find a dud

Loved Ed Balls again he is not a dancer but gave it his all and didn't mind making a fool out of himself.

Didn't like Tamika or Naga this week.

Loved Natalie she looked beautiful in that outfit and the dance was good. Also loved the Singing in the rain one. Good old Anton hope he stays in in for a while longer.

Unfortunately the two I dislike are in for the duration I think. I am prepared to name & shame if you are MG. I didn't like either of their routines.

On another point i dont think the singers are up to the songs this year. Its either that or the Microphones are rubbish - they dont seem to have strong enough voices to cope with the wonderful sound of the orchestra.

Claudia and that schoolboy lookalike were quite brilliant

I'm sick to death of Claudia Winkleman - she's not funny any longer and Tess is a waste of space - get Zoe Ball to do it - just her!!

Does Claudia need specs - she always appears to be squinting?

I enjoyed it too tonight....it will be hard to choose as they are all trying so hard.

..and I believe the band and singers are very good.

Some dances suit the older ones,so it depends what they get...thought Lesley did well for her age,but don't think she will last too long in the competition.

Tabitha I will wait until they go out before I admit who they are!

But they are both men. That is all I WILL say.

Ed Balls is turning out to be a bundle of fun, I am amazed.

I agree with the comments about Ed Ball. He seems to be putting everything into it and it's increased his entertainment value.

In my view, Danny was best this week but there aren't half some leaden-foots among the so-called celebs.

Well one of mine was in the dance off

My OH had his own ideas who should go & I disagreed - he thinks it should be on dance quality only - i think it needs to be both dance & entertainment.

At least most of the pros i disliked are gone now.

Have to admit if they got rid of the other Pro I don't like it would lose the celeb i dislike too - two birds in one

I will be away for next week's show so OH has promised not to tell me who is in or out - and i can catch up on Monday while he is at work as i have a day off to recover from a manic three days on a works trip .

I note that in the media today the "racist" card has been thrown in the mix - I don't believe racism played a part in those who have been thrown out, but I do think that the two in the dance off should not have been there - but hey ho, that's the way things seem to go!!
