I too was unaware Wendy was ill. Remember a few years back how she encouraged me to travel to a London meet, such a lovely lady who will be missed by many. RIP Wendy.

Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

So sad to see this today.

RIP Wendy, It may seem irrelevant or trivial to others but the gardens you have helped make will be a lasting memorial along with your own beautiful garden.

I was hoping to be able to tell you that the lilies you so kindly sent me had blossomed, but you went too soon. I will try and keep them "green and growing" in memory of you.
