So sorry to here Wendy has passed away. I have been away for 2 weeks and just seen this sad news. R.I.P. Wend. <3

I am so thinking of Wendy's family and Uzzi and Mo

who will be there to see her off

Been away for a few weeks, and am very sad to read this.

I will not be attending but will go and light a candle for Wend on Tuesday.

I know it will be such a very sad and emotional day for everyone........but I am sure there will be a few heart warming smiles along the way as you join together to celebrate her life.

It is wonderful to know that Uzzi and Mo will be there to represent us all.

What an emotional day tomorrow will be for all in attendance, and for all of us remembering Wendy in our different ways. I will be thinking of you and Mo, Uzzi, and of Wend and her family and friends. I am sure there will be many stories to share that will bring smiles and laughter among the tears.

As I stood in my garden amongst my flowers,
A parade of blue butterflies was drifting;
Past my lovely brilliant primrose rock garden,
They kissed a purple corn flower growing.

They stopped and kissed rainbow painted daisy,
Drifting over to drooping bleeding hearts;
Resting on white campania with their trumpets,
Like sparkling garden gems quietly hovering.

Blue larkspur and columbine called for a kiss,
The tiny rubies twirled over in a waltzing dance;
And between yarrow, sage and yellow tick seed,
They spotted echinacea and came fluttering.

Floating on over they kissed orange scabiosa,
Then the assemblage of sweet butterflies left;
Just stopping for a quick sip of fountain water,
And gone this parade of fluttering blue gems.

Mersey, that's beautiful, so appropriate for our Wend with her garden.

I wonder if she is watching all this preparation?

Thinking of Wend, her family and friends today.

She was one special person who I will never forget. She made me laugh, cry and experience every emotion between but mostly laugh hysterically at her self deprecating comments.

Not many of us could cope so well with the stuff life throws at us as Wend did.
