Hiya Robert :-D :-D :-D

Not sure what you mean!

Do you mean, Radio Jem! what next! :-D

Or Radio Jem ... what's next? :-S :-D

If the first! :-D
The nickname Radio Jem was bestowed on my Rugby Threads by a much missed GR member, and it stuck! :-D :-D

If the second?

NO IDEA! :-D :-D :-D

When I introduced this particular rugby thread I did not know about Sky Sports grabbing all television rights (except for the Scotland tour of Japan which which will be broadcast by BBC) So at present I'm not sure what format this thread will adopt

Also there are the broadcasting times factor to consider and also the clash of dates of UK and Ireland tour games.

SO I WILL HAVE TO PUT MY THINKING CAP ON THIS WEEK!

ANY FEEDBACK / IDEAS WILL BE WELCOME FOR CONSIDERATION! :-) :-)

RADIO JEM NEWSFLASH

SHOCK! HORROR!:-0 :-0 :-0

WALES' FLANKER DAN LYDIATE (Yesterday's Captain)
WILL NOT BE FIT FOR THE NEW ZEALAND TOUR

Dan sustained a shoulder injury in yesterday's Warm-Up game v England!
YES... THE WARM-UP GAMES HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!

While the rest of Dan's team mates jet out to New Zealand today, poor Dan Lydiate's place will be taken by ELLIS JENKINS who plays for CARDIFF BLUES.

SO... If SAM WARBURTON isn't fit in time, Wales have lost not just one but TWO CAPTAINS! :-(

GET WELL SOON DAN <3

KANDJ ... IF YOU ARE LOOKING IN....

I just read through yesterday's game, and realised I'd missed your question, as the page turned!

AR HYD Y NOS means ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT

It's a play on words ... They were singing Hymns and Arias, Land of My Fathers all through the night .... BUT ALSO ... they were singing "All Through The Night" which is a lovely hymn originally in Welsh. Various versions have been sung and recorded in English.

With stunning night time scenes and beautiful musical build up .....Goosebumps!...

AR HYD Y NOS<3 ......... BRYN TIERFEL
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWU07oVhF_4

Welsh

Holl amrantau'r sêr ddywedant
Ar hyd y nos
"Dyma'r ffordd i fro gogoniant,"
Ar hyd y nos.
Golau arall yw tywyllwch
I arddangos gwir brydferthwch
Teulu'r nefoedd mewn tawelwch
Ar hyd y nos.

O mor siriol, gwena seren
Ar hyd y nos
I oleuo'i chwaer ddaearen
Ar hyd y nos.
Nos yw henaint pan ddaw cystudd
Ond i harddu dyn a'i hwyrddydd
Rhown ein golau gwan i'n gilydd
Ar hyd y nos.

ORIGINAL ENGLISH TRANSLATION

All the stars' twinkles say
All through the night
"This is the way to the realm of glory,"
All through the night.
Darkness is another light
That exposes true beauty
The Heavenly family in peace
All through the night.

O, how cheerful smiles the star,
All through the night
To light its earthly sister
All through the night.
Old age is night when affliction comes
But to beautify man in his late days
We'll put our weak light together
All through the night.

This is the Later English Wording that is more commonly sang now

ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT

Sleep my child and peace attend thee,
All through the night
Guardian angels God will send thee,
All through the night
Soft the drowsy hours are creeping
Hill and vale in slumber steeping,
I my loving vigil keeping
All through the night.

While the moon her watch is keeping
All through the night
While the weary world is sleeping
All through the night
O'er thy spirit gently stealing
Visions of delight revealing
Breathes a pure and holy feeling
All through the night.

The above is an alternative English word version written at a later date

ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT .... CELTIC WOMEN CHRISTMAS
