NEW ZEALAND v WALES <3

The Anthems for the Sing-A-Long

MAE HEN WLAD FY NHADAU- THE WELSH NATIONAL ANTHEM

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mad,
Dros ryddid collasant eu gwaed

Cytgan/ Chorus

Gwlad, gwlad,
pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

GOD DEFEND NEW ZEALAND

The anthem has English and Maori lyrics, with slightly different meanings. When performed in public, the usual practice is to sing the first verse in both Maori and
English.
Maori Verse

"Aotearoa"
E Ihowa Atua,
O nga iwi matou ra
Ata whakarangona;
Me aroha noa
Kia hua ko te pai;
Kia tau to atawhai;
Manaakitia mai
Aotearoa

English translation (Karetu)

Lord, God over yonder,
Of all our nations
Listen to us gently,
With the infinite love
May the goodness bear fruit;
May your kindness come;
Please give protection to
Aotearoa

God of Nations at Thy feet,
In the bonds of love we meet,
Hear our voices, we entreat,
God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific's triple star
From the shafts of strife and war,
Make her praises heard afar,
God defend New Zealand

Cyprus calling Radio Jem. Cyprus calling.

Good morning Jem.

Pup walked, had breakfast and now keeping out of the sun. 31 C at 8 am. Pup walking in the heat :-S. Now almost 10.20 and 32 C. Have a lovely breeze blowing across me so I'm cool. Pup asleep on cold tiles. She's 1yr at the end of this month.

Congrats to all on new addition, photo looked great.

Don't have any live rugby here but will do cheer leading when you put up scores and half time. ;-)

Was in training in UK, e.g. Sunday - walked 5 miles around Notts village - open gardens. Monday 3.5 miles shopping around Nottingham with daughter, Tuesday up and down the hills of Sheffield. Previous week over 3 hours walking around Chester. Cheer leading will be a doddle :-D
