SOUTH AFRICA's ANTHEM... NKOSI SIKELEL iAFRICA
Since 1997, the South African national anthem has been a hybrid song combining new English lyrics with extracts of the hymn 'Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika' (God Bless Africa) and 'Die Stem van Suid-Afrika' (The Call of South Africa).
Language: XHOSA Lyrics: Nkosi sikelel’ iAfrica, Maluphakanyisw uphono Iwayo (God bless Africa, Let it’s horn be raised)
Language: ZULU Lyrics: Yizwa imithandazo yethu, Nkosi sikelela, thina lusapho lwayo (Listen also to our prayers, Lord bless us, we are the family of it (Africa)
Language: SESOTHO Lyrics: Morena boloka setjhaba sa heso. O fedise dintwa le matshwenyeho. O se boloke. O se boloke setjhaba sa heso, Setjhaba sa, South Afrika, South Afrika . English Translation: Lord bless our nation. Stop wars and sufferings. Save it, save our nation, the nation of South Africa, South Africa.
Language: AFRICAANS Lyrics: Uit die blou van onse hemel, uit die diepte van ons see, Oor ons ewige gebergtes, waar die kranse antwoord gee, English Translation: From the blue of our skies, From the depth of our sea, over everlasting mountains, Where the echoing cliffs resound in answer
Language: ENGLISH Lyrics: Sounds the call to come together and united we shall stand, Let us live and strive for freedom in South Africa our land.

THE ANTHEMS READY FOR THE SING-A-LONG
IRELAND HAVE 2 SONGS! Why is this?
Well, the Ireland Rugby Team is made up of players from both the Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland.
So sometimes they sing two anthems. The National Anthem of the Republic of Ireland - A SOLDIER'S SONG, and the IRU Anthem (Ireland Rugby Union) IRELAND'S CALL, which was written to unite both the North and The South of Ireland.
When only one can be sung, then it will be Ireland's Call that will be sung.
ROI NATIONAL ANTHEM : A SOLDIER’S SONG
We'll sing a song, a soldier's song, With cheering rousing chorus, As round our blazing fires we throng, The starry heavens o'er us; Impatient for the coming fight, And as we wait the morning's light, Here in the silence of the night, We'll chant a soldier's song. Chorus: Soldiers are we whose lives are pledged to Ireland; Some have come from a land beyond the wave. Sworn to be free, No more our ancient sire land Shall shelter the despot or the slave. Tonight we man the gap of danger In Erin's cause, come woe or weal "Mid cannons" roar and rifles peal, We'll chant a soldier's song.
In valley green, on towering crag, Our fathers fought before us, And conquered 'neath the same old flag That's proudly floating o'er us. We're children of a fighting race, That never yet has known disgrace, And as we march, the foe to face, We'll chant a soldier's song.
Probably not all verses will be sung.
I love this one......
IRU ANTHEM: IRELAND'S CALL
Verse 1: Come the day and come the hour Come the power and the glory We have come to answer Our Country's call From the four proud provinces of Ireland
Chorus: Ireland, Ireland Together standing tall Shoulder to shoulder We'll answer Ireland's call
Verse 2: From the mighty Glens of Antrim From the rugged hills of Galway From the walls of Limerick And Dublin Bay From the four proud provinces of Ireland
Chorus: Ireland, Ireland Together standing tall Shoulder to shoulder We'll answer Ireland's call
Verse 3: Hearts of steel And heads unbowing Vowing never to be broken We will fight, until We can fight no more From the four proud provinces of Ireland
Chorus: Ireland, Ireland Together standing tall Shoulder to shoulder We’ll answer Ireland’s Call We’ll answer Ireland’s Call
Usually, just the first verse, chorus and the last chorus are sung.
