	Morris dancing :-D :-D My Aussie friend was fascinated by them once when we were at Southwold. We sat for about 30 minutes before I could drag her away.

	Morris dancers don't wear shorts :-D :-D :-D - and he was at college at the time ;-) No Fly, 'cos I can't follow dance steps to save me life :-D :-D

	They aren't meant to be coloured men - out of work plough boys in the winter used to black their faces and dance to entertain and try to earn some money :-D By, I'm a fount of knowledge ;-) ;-)

	See ya Ann <3 :-D You are in fine form tonight Lyn. Here's a little tale you will appreciate. Do you remember the roundabout near the old Durham Tech, known as the Blackie Boy roundabout by everyone around here? Not too long ago there was a little consternation from some until it was explained to them that the name Blackie Boy came from the black faces of the young coal mining boys many many years ago and not what they thought. It remains known by the same name. :-D
