Well what a palaver, Moved rooms yesterday to a much better room with a loo. :-D :-D

Spent the day down Shepherds Bush with step mammy and had a great time, then went and lost, had knicked. my credit card. So had to pratt about cancelling that and arranging an encashment. All sorted so off to Kew to see if I can get lost there. ;-)

So far I have got lost 4 times between the hotel and the station. DON¨T ask. :-S :-S
Hubby said I need a babysitter and I told hum that they arrive tomorrow. :-D :-D

Ann we leave at Midnight tomorrow night
and get there about 6.30 am :-D :-D

When Uzzi first put the thread up I thought I might try to come for the day so that I could meet a few of you and start to put faces to names. Then a group of friends decided to go to Majorca for a week and invited me and OH to join them. We're leaving at silly o'clock Friday morning so I still won't get to meet any of you.

I'm just posting now to wish you all a great time together. Have fun :-D

Hope they move you ok today then. Did you have the booking in writing? If so (and anyway) not good enough.
L says she is not surprised that you found the noise level not what you are used to, she has the same problem going from where she lives. (As also do we).
Anyway glad the flight was ok hope there are no problems when you return next week and good luck with the research.

yeah yeah I´m here, was just so tired last night well had been up since 5am (4 am UK time) . Had a great flight landed half hour early, just arrived at baggage reclaim as my bag came round the top into my hand. Siddled onto the shuttle just as it was ready to leave and the same for the Gatwick Express to Victoria. Found the hotel with no problem.
Then everything went down hill. There is a shower and sink in the room no loo, after much waffling about sometimes some websites mis represent and me explaining that I booked direct with them not via a 3rd party, SO this is NOT an upgrade, mistake or what ever, but I expect an en-suite room to be just that en-suite that is the reason that I booked them Well they were fully booked for the night and everybody in so they are going to move me tomorrow no TODAY. The room is clean if tatty and I am not sure if the dip in the floorboards outside is safe or what, but the wifi works great :-D
Anyways went to check out the Willow walk and took the long way round, I so wish I had just gone to the nearest pub for a meal. The Willow walk was 10 decibels above my comfortable noise level, Work on the building means no outside seating for smokers, I couldn´t log into their internet and the meal was not good. After saying that I was tired and grumpy by then. I am sure it will be okay by Saturday, It´s just me and a quieter pace of life, by Sat I will have caught up.

I have changed my plans since I messaged you. Will be good to see everyone again and the new faces too

Went to a coffee morning wth the U3A and then did the weeks shop,

Lots of traffic so came a different way home to find I couldn't park to unload . That's pees me off cos every world and his cat thinks we don't need to park at least near our house,They park and walk off with no consideration of who they are blocking
You can tell its annoys me !! especaily when hubby was so dodgy on his feet that walking was a big problem for him .

So parked down the road and did several trips to unload , drove the car around to the back of the house and put in the garage

Was having some lunch and thought silly moo !!! You were going via the station to see what was what as well as going to the local mobility shop to buy a new cover for hubby's mobility scooter that is sitting in the garden which I going to try and sell

Sooo I have made a boo boo and forgotten both, losing my marbles I think

Am going out tomorrow to a lunch club so hopefully I will,remember to do both then

Sad really when age makes memory problems. :-(
