Such a shame about Paul O'Connell Jem, I hope that he will enjoy early retirement. I am hoping to join Radio Jem and all the rugby gang. We may have another young one here for the first match, but I'll try to join in all the fun and banter anyway.

IRELAND NEWS
PAUL O'CONNELL RETIRES
Former Ireland Captain, the lovely Paul O'Connell, who retired from International Rugby last year before signing for Toulon, has had to retire from all forms of Rugby.
LOCK PAUL O'CONNELL, who is the 3rd MOST CAPPED IRISH PLAYER , won 109 CAPS FOR IRELAND (includes 1 Cap for Ireland A in 2002), and 7 CAPS for the BRITISH & IRISH LIONS (2005, 2009, 2013)
Paul also earned a whopping 174 Caps for his club MUNSTER, for whom he played from 2001 until 2015.
Sadly. Paul never got to play a game for Toulon, following a bad injury he sustained during the Rugby World Cup 2015.
It is due to this injury, that Paul has been forced to retire from the game he loves :-(
