	I know Joy. When visiting hospital they have trollies full of patients folders next to their computers , very last Century :-D

	You know what I mean Barb when I say I can't understand why the NHS could not get its computer system to run as it should when we could communicate by computer with others 1,000 miles away in 1984. Now I'm being serious - what do to? I'm wading through my Christmas sweets here waiting for Strictly. :-S

	OH told me that the guy across the road has put his lights up but they are somewhat restraint... so I takes a look and he has lights in all his trees, with flashing lights that change colour all around the front of the house with a ginormous flashing Merry Christmas on his garage doors :-D :-D Nearly forgot he has a huge fibre optic Xmas tree in his porch that changes colour too :-D :-D I suppose from previous they are restraint :-0 :-D

	When was that Barb? Yours sounds like ours was. I was not living in England in 1984 though. Weren't they precious about their mainframes. What I find odd is that some of the initialised words are different from what they were 20+ years ago, eg. Lol always meant lots of love and now it's laugh out loud. Who changed the lingo? I had to ask Lyn to enlighten me when I saw your threads. My daughter also uses lol to indicate laughing. However granddaughter uses lol for both and you have to see the context in which it's being used to know what it means. I think it's got to be the way she's been taught. You're right Mr M. Amazing the speed of technological progress is.
