Hi Fly. Mini pork pie I should say. It's pork and apple but I could hardly taste the apple so won't buy them again. I've just topped it off with a Pot of Joy <3. Bought the choc orange desserts for the YU and he is not here today. They're not my cup of tea because I like dark choc.

Anyway, how are you and OH today? I hope he is fully recovered now.

Have you been out at all?

Cold enough for snow here. Brrrrrrrr :-S

Yes, it looks yummy :-D :-D

We have a very spread out Christmas dinner - starter (lobster this year!) at about 12.30, the main event about 3 o'clock, then Christmas pud at about 6!

Plus a few tipples before, in between and after, of course ;-) ;-) :-D

I'd better go and prepare tea - I'm making my special fish pie :-D

See you later :-D <3

I love Christmas and feel festive as soon as the first Xmas tree appears. :-D

Isn't Barb's Xmas pud avatar delicious? :-D

Hya Joy :-D :-D <3 <3

I'm not a big Christmas fan, but now that I've got the decorations up I'm feeling more festive :-D

The new pre-lit tree has certainly made life easier. I love the old one, which is 5ft, with cones and frost, so I won't get rid of it. It stood on top on a cabinet, and I was fed up with clambering up a step stool to put on the baubles. The new one is 6ft,and stands in front of the French windows, so it's much easier to decorate. Though it's a plain and bog standard one, it looks lovely now it's up
:-D

Hi Lyn, Our tree sound as though it's decorated like yours, with baubles from all over the globe. Ours is only three years old and I call it my default tree because it was the only tall one left in the store when Tesco told me that the one I ordered had been mysteriously cancelled the week before Christmas. Their fault and I was livid and refused to have a different one from them so went to Homebase near us where the choice was between three or four two-or-so feet high ones and one 8-feet high one. As the grandkids were coming over the next day to decorate it I had no time to go elsewhere. It looks good though and this year hubby and I decorated it ourselves - the first time for years.

We also have a wonderful pull-up tree, ready lit and baubled that I bought one year when some building work was finishing around 22 December and I could not be bothered with anything more. Hubby has it in the family room and he has draped coloured lights there too.

Daughter thinks 'his' room is like Santa's grotto and mine with warm white lights is more swish :-D :-D. That's daughters for you, they speak their minds while sons keep their traps shut :-D

I don't know about you but every year now, I wonder whether I should bother with anything other than the pull-up ready decorated tree but when I do, I'm always glad I did so. I just love Christmas. :-D

Afternoon everybody :-D :-D :-D :-D <3 <3 <3 <3

Phew! With much cursing, a few breakages and a kaput candle arch - I've got me decorations up! :-D :-D :-D

The new tree is a bit bigger so that gives me an excuse to buy a few more baubles. Every one of mine is different and have been collected over time, and in a few countries, so I'm on a mission for more tomorrow, plus a new candle arch. :-D ;-)

'Muhaydin Mire & knife crime; local flooding; Government Ministers holding-up rescue attempts while they visit the sites of misery; Katie Hopkins backing Donald Trump.

Relax, we are told. Everything will be ok. We will give you some money for repairs. Things do not always go from bad to worse.

Meanwhile; feed the hungry; shelter the destitute homeless & asylum-seekers; say 'no' to Sharia law in the UK; keep hope alive'. :-S

Hi GP. Not feeling the cold. Wrapped up when I go out and the house is always warm. How about you?

The winds blowing today though. It was 2 C outside just before 7 this morning and it feels as though there is snow in the air now, but none yet.

II hope the problems you have had connecting stay well and truly fixed. :-D
