Been out for coffee as well as sick visiting this a.m. Just about to do the school run now.

I've just found a pound coin in my kitchen cupboard. Very honest of the person who purloined my 20 plastic bags which were tidily stored there. :-S

Hello Dermot :-D <3 hope your Dad is still getting his Half & Half up there :-D

For some 25 years, my dad used to cycle the three miles to the nearby village every Friday to collect his pension at the Post Office. He might then pop in next door for a glass or three of his favourite alcoholic drink - 'Half & Half' he used to call it - half a pint of bitter mixed with a half of Guinness.

Sadly, the news has just reached me that the Post Office has been closed down. This won't affect my dad one bit because he has been collecting his weekly reward in Heaven for a few years already. Well, that's what I believe, anyway. Not sure if they provide any 'Half & Half' drinks up there as well.

We have a dry but chilly start to the day in my corner of Kent :-( and the forecast is for a dry and sunny day :-) and although it may cloud over at times this afternoon :-( there should still be plenty of good sunny spells around :-) and it could turn out to be quite pleasant today with temperatures hovering at about 63°F :-)

So wherever you are and whatever you will be doing today ;-) stay safe :-) take care :-) enjoy yourself ;-) and if you see someone without a smile give them one of yours :-)

And remember that a true friend ;-) encourages you when you need encouragement ;-) comforts you when you need comforted ;-) and like a big arm chair ;-) they provide support when you need support ;-) they are also the medicine that help you cope with the trials and tribulations of daily life ;-)

It's ta-ra from me until tomorrow folks <3 I am off out now on my mobility scooter to do my shopping and get a blood test done ;-) and with supermarkets charging for bags now - I'll have to see ;-) ;-) ;-) if I can find a couple of old bags to take with me :-D :-D :-D
