she told me that she had a rather rough time of it and they were quite poor. She also said if she was naughty she was shut in a cupboard. She also said she married the first boyfriend only to get away. |

They won't release the 1921 census early...simply because they have not made their minds up whether to do a 2021 census....hence reassuring the public who do the 2021 that it will remain under lock and Key for the said 100 years :-( |

The page I managed to get from the records office listed 24 births with only 4 of them being legitimate. I was lucky to get that info as a lot of stuff was destroyed during the Blitz on Bristol. |

Yes Ann. Her mother was transferred from another w/house to have the baby. I remember my mum saying she never knew her. But she didn't know WHERE she was born, thank the Lord. |
