Such a shock to read this and so very sad.

RIP Dizzi.

Reading this was a shock, I never met Gwen but we shared some thoughts, I sent her some colouring pencils that I had, and she sent me a lovely drawing she did, such talent , I always enjoyed reading her posts, and was pleased to hear all her news, rest in peace lovely brave lady you will be missed so much . condolences to the family...

Oh my goodness what a shock to see this

I met Gwen at several London meets and she was a zany lady who loved to laugh.

She was so pleased to have got her mobility scooter and enjoyed her test run and was looking forward to getting out on it

She had said she wasnt feeling too good too in the last few days but to see she has passed is such a shock

You will be missed Dizzi , RIP dear lady

I am shocked that Our Lovely Lady has passed.so shocked I am gobsmacked.

Oh,,,Dizzi you will be missed so much.

You were hoping to have so much fun on your mobility scooter but you can now have fun being an Angel flying free from all your pain.

I went everyday onto her thread Roll Call and laughed at all her antics. She tried so hard to stay positive. The last 2 days she had a mobility scooter and was enjoying going out. She wanted to stay mobile as long as possible.

I am so shocked but at least she was having fun the last couple of days.

Oh Dizzi we'll miss you and your threads, you touched so many lives. Out of pain now, RIP.

Sincere condolences to family and friends. A special lady was Dizzi.

Very sad news for all of us. A lovely lady who loved to help others with their research.

I've sat and read all my Facebook messages going back to 2011 where Gwen has shared her wealth of information to help with my family tree.

The world has lost a wonderful and generous woman today.

May you RIP Dizzi and you will be sadly missed.

Such sad news, Diz was a vibrant, out there, creative but above all gentle and kind soul. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I can barely believe this, I was only thinking about our Gwen earlier yesterday. I thought there was a little light at the end of the tunnel for our friend as she had got the mobility scooter so could get out more easily and was looking forward to tales of her travels.

My sympathy to her family, I don't think they appreciated what a wonderful, brave person Gwen was. Her grandchildren will miss her but will have so many memories of all she did with them and for them. She had so many creative talents.

Rest in peace, love, you have been so brave and strong, cheerful and determined to
live life as best you could despite the cruel blow you were dealt.

We won't forget you, Gwen, you will be with a great bunch from gr, sadly growing larger by the week.

Stay Dizzi, Gwen , our Dragonfly flying free now.

I had to read this post twice thinking to myself Dizzi only posted the other day saying about her outing on her scooter. How sad when she was enjoying having her independace.

we shall have to try to keep this at the top through the weekend .....

..... GR staff will not be in the office until 8 or 8:30 am on Monday morning. So there is no-one around to stickie it.

She also put up a couple of links re caravans.

She has been in and out of hospital from time to time but I was not expecting this.
I shall miss your zany ways Gwen.. having to replace your keyboard after you spilt cinnamon and honey on it.

I will miss your little drawings, and for the fact that like me you have a penchant for owls.

This is so crazy, I just can't believe it.

On the 20th she posted Henry Scot Holland's poem
