OFITG, I always enjoy your words of wisdom :-). I think you are so right, it is easy to take what we have for granted - you certainly made me think this morn :-).

Fly <3 I have a ground floor studio flat, large bed/sitting room, kitchen, shower/toilet room, and hallway - alarm cords in each with 2 in bed/sitting room and they are supposed to be getting me an alarm thing that I would wear round my neck like you would a necklace and once I get that i'll feel safer :-)

So true OneFoot a lot of people would give their right arm for what you have <3

Fly <3 don't want to move, like my little studio flat, like where it is located, and OK sometimes wish cuts had not reduced services, for example whereas we used to have our own scheme warden we now share a warden with another schemes.

I am lucky as I have a roof over my head, heating to keep me warm, clothes on my back, shoes on my feet, food in my larder, and enough money to to meet my daily living expenses :-) there are many less fortunate than I am :-)

Fly <3 & Londonbelle <3 Yes we have a warden somewhere on the schem :-S last time he came to my door was in September last year when he checked the smoke alarm :-S

All the reduction in services here are down to cuts to local authority funding and are all part of the care and compassion for the elderly and vulnerable policies that our political leaders keep boasting about :-S

Fly <3 Londonbelle <3 when I opened the door this morning and saw the snow I am glad I went to the shops yesterday and stocked up on my essentials ;-) there is no way until the snow melts that i would be able to get out :-( because of cuts the housing association that runs our sheltered housing scheme does not grit or clear the pavements :-(
