Researching:
I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

GiN thats what happened to me, I had the wrong branch of the tree but thankfully I found a family member on here who I never knew was alive and well who helped me fill in the gaps...... :-D <3

Hi Gin....not checked your family findings on the census yet...will do when kids have gone home.

Couldn't find a marriage for parents or who you think might be parents in Holywell Reg District.

However there were two possibles for a birth of Joseph in the Holywell District.

1851 and 1855 .... they are not him.

Popped up to registrars after dropping Princess....our registrars are very helpful and looked at both originals....both did not have father named Joseph :-(

I'd found those births on Ancestry, and had wondered. I've looked at censuses, and couldn't find a father "Joseph", that's what made me think he had died early. I think I'll send for his first marriage certificate, also in Consett, to see if there are any more clues.

I guess he is going to stay a Mystery Man :-( ;-)
