It got to 18 C here today but with a cool breeze - it was great for drying the clothes though.

If I get stuck on my tree I walk away and start again next time as I've found that fresh eyes and mind sometimes help. Time just evaporates when I work on my tree.

You can tell us all tomorrow how the surprise party went. :-D

A wee bit on the chilly side here but the sun is shining so it's a beautiful day.

I have been up my tree for about 3 hr's..........and just when i was about to throw a tantrum, i found the information i was looking for. :-D

I am going to a surprise Ruby Wedding Anniversary party tonight........for my two bestest friends in the whole wide world.

In August we'll have been here 10 years. We do have a very slow, easy life.

We get up when we like, it's a washing/ironing day for me. OH will sweep out when the washings finished. We'll have a light lunch, I'll then watch football from UK and OH will either be on the computer or doing crosswords. About 6 pm we'll get ready to go out, it's a Chinese tonight. Meet friends and get back about midnight. Sit here for about half an hour then off to bed. This is a typical day. You ask if it's slow and easy well manyana is far too quick, time to locals is ish, if they say I'll be with you by the 15th you ask which month or if the say a month you ask which year. lol

The weather helps a lot with OH bad back. We fell in love with the place in the early 70s when we were both posted here. We met here, got married 44 years ago yesterday and just managed to have our son here almost 42 years ago. I say just managed as we flew out when he was 28 days old

Morning to everyone. It's a beautiful morning here and 17C. Warming up fast this morning. I've lot's of washing to get dry today. Out for a meal tonight, no squid, it's Chinese tonight. :-)

I wasn't hiding Prickles.

A fish meze here usually contains both squid and octopus. I prefer squid myself. OH can't eat prawns - he's allergic to them but he did love them before they started to make him ill.

Our daughter is very partial to calamari. You should try it Dizzi. :-)

I can't believe our Prickles has only just been introduced to squid - I really thought she was a woman of the world.:-0 I just lurves a plate of calamares.

I went out for lunch to-day (big boy's birthday) and had prawn cocktail for a starter - yum yum :-D
