I've heard the weather forecast for UK. We lived for many years in north Nottinghamshire, there was only flat Lincolnshire between us and the North Sea so I do know about weather from Siberia.

All of you keep yourselves warm and out of the bitter winds that come from that area. The normal flow of weather across the Atlantic was fine for us as the Peak District took the worst of the weather but it was very different when it was from Siberia.

Morning Dizzi and Wend, temp shot up now we have 18 C but it's a very cold wind and thick cloud rolling in. Next door's cat has been sprawled out on our patio in the sun all morning confirming the wind's cold. He normally stays there about half an hour early in the morning to get warm then goes to the shade.

When I was having problems sleeping I used to put on Radio 5 very quietly - soon asleep :-D

Hope snow has gone as your temperature seems to be higher this morning so could already be melting.

We have 10 C at 08.30, sunny and a cloudless sky. Will soon have hot water for the washing up Dizzi :-D

Some people I know have another type of dishwasher (the OH) but I don't have a 2 legged 1. His hands peel when he puts his hands in detergent/washing up liquid. Fingers split open and his hands become sore so I have an electrical dishwasher instead. Fair swap I call that :-D
