Morning Dizzi :-)

Glad you enjoyed yourself yesterday.

Got 4 pairs of curtains and 7 throws washed and dried. Curtains ironed and back up, throws back over the seating.

3 loads of clothes to wash today, then iron - yuk. Upstairs curtains in the week. Should have several good days now. Already 20 c today, very little wind at the moment. Soon be finished with spring cleaning. Usually do it over about 3 weeks as the weather gets better but we've got visitors next week and the weather's only just perked up. Still once it's done I can take it easy as we'll be out a lot with visitors. Not a lot of cooking to do as we eat out with friends when these visitors come out as they know so many people here.

Wasn't that bad, I could get rid of it with hot drinks or panadol. I just had a very croaky voice that kept breaking up and then went very hoarse that wasn't much more than a whisper. I didn't need antibiotics it was viral linked to the cold. If you have a sore throat and a painkiller takes away the pain it's a virus, if the painkiller doesn't relieve the pain it's docs and antibiotics. If you can't take painkillers well litres of hot drinks of honey and lemon or the sachets of honey, lemon and ginger and add more honey. Throat had stopped being sore late yesterday but it's still going dry then I start choking, hate that. Have some Hall's sweets for that. As you see we've got it covered :-D. We are both feeling much better so hopefully by the end of the weekend we'll be fine. Hope so have to see doc on Tuesday for my next 2 months tablets and hate to be unwell when I go. :-(

It was only an annoying cold and we just stayed in, kept warm, had a box of tissues each and had afternoon sleeps :-D and sympathised with each other.

It's nothing next to your problems Dizzi. You look after yourself with these colds about. :-)

THEY DONT GIVE ANTIBIOTICS VERY OFTEN BECAUSE THEY RECON B Y THE TIME THEY WORK YOUR SORE THROAT HAS GONE,OKAY FOR THEM BUT IF YOU CANT EAT OR DRINK YOU CAN DEHIDREATE

We have sun and whispers - no cold wind for the 2nd day, temp now 17 C may get slightly warmer.

Shopping today have very little left here. Both been laid low with a nasty cold for just over a week, both now improving so off to get some food and replace the stores we went through. Almost lost my voice due to week long sore throat so very quiet for a couple of days - think OH enjoyed that :-D

Sore throat gone, OH not aware of that yet :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

If you had a dog Dizzi it would have lapped up the coffee for you. The floor's called the dog shelf after all. :-D

Our dog never took anything off tables, kitchen surfaces etc. but drop something on the floor and you had to be very quick to retrieve it before he laid claims to it. :-D

Morning Dizzi - what are you like eh? Have a bacon sarni - it won't matter if you drop it because you haven't got a dog :-D

It's very windy here and the wind is still cold. Temp is 17 C but wind chill is bringing it down.

Just been watching them skimming over the top of the grass in the field opposite us catching the insects. First sighting this year. :-D :-) :-)
