18 C and sunny here, so much better than the last few days.

Poor might, my son was at school when he caught chicken pox, it didn't make him ill and he only had a few spots. Son gave it to daughter who was 18 months old and she was covered in spots including all over her scalp. She had pink hair for a week with the calamine lotion. It was so difficult stopping her scratching the spots.

Hope little one gets better soon. :-)

Friends gone off to their timeshare. More friends flying in this afternoon who are staying with first lot up at the timeshare.

Very cloudy. No sun to be seen today as yet 16 C.

We are all out for a curry tonight :-D

Very windy here yesterday up to Force 7 at one time. A cool breeze today only 14 C at the moment. Hazy sky but sun out. Nice and warm if you can get out of the breeze.

Laptop caught up with you yet? :-D Or is it you caught up with the laptop? :-D

Give yourself a good laugh if you haven't already seen it - it's on BBC - Back in Time for Dinner. The tin opener use is a scream. <3

Eating here tomorrow. Curry Monday, Chinese Tuesday, local Wednesday. We have 9 very good restaurants in the 3 villages around us so we've plenty of choice. Some are pretty basic inside but the food is wonderful. The curry is cooked by an ex Gurkha, it's great.

We went out last night, local food this time. Bed about 00.30. Have done a load of washing, going out gets through the clothes :-0. Chinese tonight, local tomorrow. :-D.

Friends' flight was on time. We've caught up. Had a laugh and went out for a curry. They said hello and thank you for your thoughts. They've booked their next flights out here in June but no flight back yet - but they'll be gone by late September as they have a holiday in the USA booked. They are "working" here in summer doing a month of bungalow/ dog sitting in June/July and someone wants them to house/dog sit August/ September.

1 am bedtime. I'm the only 1 up and it's nearly 9.30 :-0

They keep a car here with us so they'll be off looking around later. We're off to eat out this evening, we just haven't decided where yet :-D

It's only 16 C but blue sky so may get up a bit higher. :-D

Morning Dizzi :-)

Busy morning. Just about to do washing up and tidy kitchen then it's shower and wash hair. Off to the airport then. Friends land at 13.30. They are already in the air. 07.10 GMT from Gatwick. Spending 5 weeks here. 1st and last 2 weeks with us. They are visiting other parts in between the 2 stops here. They are great fun so we're in for a great time. :-D

They are late rises so I can still say good morning to you Dizzi. :-D

Afternoon Dizzi.

Had a busy morning cleaning. Stopped for lunch. Part way through cleaning the cooker. Soon won't be using it alot. Gets too hot to cook much.

19 C and hazy, clouds beginning to thicken. Bedding dried so it can rain :-)

The designers would hate my place, all the walls are the same colour a pale yellow. It goes with most colours so easy to find curtains and cushions. Colour is added by pictures abstract, animals and scenic pictures all over the house. Hate most of what designers do. I find they want to make a statement but I think it's then difficult to live with day in day out. :-D

Pity the couple, I'd ask for it to be done in my style at programme's expense if I was them :-D
