Hope you get back OK and you got a lift quickly. Hopefully a neighbour was also at the docs.

Weather here is very cloudy and at times it's going dark. It's 18 C but very windy so there's a wind chill factor out there.

Hope you didn't take out your teenage rampage on those in the surgery ;-)

I still reckon I'm 26 but as my children are both older than that it's hard to convince people. :-D That however is how I feel mentally, just the bones creak and ache a bit for some reason :-0

When the entertainment returns up the club, which should be late May, we'll go bopping again. Should see the much younger tourist who stay up the club when we oldies get up dancing. They never get up until we are all up then they get bold and join in and really enjoy themselves. :-D

Better day here. No clouds, sunny but only 17 C though, breeze still here. We had a lot of rain last night. Everyone's moaning because it should be warmer by now. We're never satisfied, by August it'll be roll on the cooler weather we're so hot. ;-)

Afternoon Dizzi, :-)

Had a visitor this morning. A friend who's nearly 80 and has a bad back. She had a lift down to the hairdresser's she uses. A neighbour was going that way. It's quite a walk back so as we're halfway between the hairdresser and her house she phones and books a coffee or two straight after she books the hairdresser. :-D

She tries to do as much as she can so we go along with it. After she's finished her coffee and chat off she goes and completes the walk. Refreshed after her sit down. :-D

Heard about the wind, was listening to Radio Northampton and Sheffield this morning.

Our weather although better than UK still isn't what it should be. 18 C and heavy cloud. Sun out at the moment but very cool blustery wind. I'd rather be here though :-D

We've been invited out tomorrow now and as we've been out so much we're not going out tonight. Hope I remember where the oven is ;-)

Think we're only out at the end of the week now. Just doing a pile of washing again, going out really piles it up. :-( It's not so much the washing it's the ironing :-( :-(

Well we've been out every night this week. Thought we were free tonight and the weekend. Only night out left for this week, up to this morning, was a Chinese on Friday. Well friends phoned early this morning, so out Saturday. There is live entertainment in the next village on Sunday, it was arranged last night and we've just had the e-mail asking us to go, we're now going to eat there and have the entertainment at the same time on Sunday evening. Just a few minutes ago, as we returned here, OH's mobile went off it said - booking a meal out at the club tonight you're invited. It's so difficult being retired out here, we have to work so hard at it, and guess what - we normally go out Mondays. :-S As you gather we are enjoying ourselves :-)

It's very windy today. I was very windswept by the time we got to the bank. Heaven knows how the woman there recognised me from my ID card picture :-D

Hope all well with you. Remember when my 2 started walking, with little ones you spend ages getting them to talk and walk then ages telling them to sit down and be quiet. ;-) Hope Maisie's well now. :-)

Had a busy morning. Still coolish here. It's 19 C but the cold wind is still there. It's about 15/16 C.

Friends have come out here after a holiday late Feb/ early March in the Canaries, had to buy warmer jackets they were so cold out there. Looks like the cold wind is everywhere.

Have you seen Back for Dinner on BBC, so funny but really the people taking part are a little pathetic. The programme about the 1950s was hysterical when they tried to use an opener. :-D
