Funny day weather wise. Temperature up and down today as it's been very cloudy at times. High of 23 C - should be about 28 C at the moment.

Not out tonight but out the next 4 nights.

How are you all today?? It's been quite pleasant here, outside. Pity I have only had time for the dog walk though... been inside doing stuff again. You know, normal activities like housework.

DH bathed the dog on Saturday... so that took up half the day - he takes a long time to dry and it was raining outside... not a fun experience :-(

Well, I suppose I should get back to my ironing :-(

I'm putting a question on the General Chat board, so if you'd care to have a look you might be able to answer it for me - but I only want to write it once, so I think thats the place I should put it.

Watching F 1, terrible start for Hamilton.

Very heavy sky here, rain has been predicted and I see the farmer is collecting up the bails of hay that have been drying out. It's 24 C but there's a cool breeze.

Out tonight as there's a guitarist/singer and a singer up the club.

Had a quiet night in last night. :-D

Has your leg got any better as you haven't mentioned it for awhile?

You could redecorate your bedroom with your palette. Wasn't it Pollock who splashed paint everywhere?

You could become Pollock mark 2, the new updated model :-D. You could make a fortune redecorating homes - a flick here a flick there and charge £50 per hour + expenses. I will however take a commission of 10% as a non active manager :-D

Where's your paint palette Dizzi you can flick paint all over your bedroom and redecorate it yourself. :-D

Not suggesting you do this :-0 but my husband had quite a lot of old clothes that were well past their best before date, every time I suggested he got rid of them the excuses flowed and they stayed. I took action and every now and then out went something. When we packed to come out here very little was left and he wore them around the house whilst working and discarded them as we left. He never noticed that about 75% had already disappeared. :-D

Sentimental things are different, would he like a cupboard for his birthday - you can choose where to put it :-D

Hope you stop being grumpy as it doesn't do your BP any good. Get Momma Mia and sing along with it or other feel good/funny film and relax. If you get bored with them you may fall asleep. :-)

WITH LOTS OF THESE IN A DAY IT CAN REALLY GET TO YOU,
BEDROOM,STILL NOT DECORATED,I NEED THE ALCOVE CUPBOARD TO PUT BOXES IN BUT IT'S FULL OF HIS DADS STUFF AND HE DIED 17 YEARS AGO,I WANT MY CUPBOARD BACK,
MOAN OF THE WEEK OVER.

Have Classic FM on this morning as it's the least election news station we can find :-D.

Solrosen look at the M & S shoes on line so you'll know what they do. You'll also know if you like their styles.

Will be out at the fundraiser for Nepal tonight. Don't usually go out Saturday as it gets very crowded. Many restaurants are taken over with wedding parties during summer. May go out Sunday evening to the club as they have entertainment on.

It's only 24 C, very cloudy with a cool wind today. Still unsettled but hopefully it'll sort itself out soon. Solrosen I'd send you a bit of sun but it does go your way after it passes us :-). You also have the sun most of the day and night in summer. The sun goes at about 8.30 pm and it's dark by 9 pm in the middle of summer here. We do have more sun than you in the winter though.

It's Friday 8th May Dizzi. I know because a man on the radio told me as it's VE day. Hope you had a good night. Are you off somewhere for the weekend?

DOING PAINTING,I ONLY USED KIDS PAINT PALLET BUT
DIDN'T SEE SOME SPLASHES OF PAINT ON THE WORKTOP
SO AT 7am HE'S HAVING A RIGHT OLD MOAN AND VERY LOUD AND HE'S STILL LIKE IT,LOOKS LIKE A GOOD DAY (NOT) AHEAD ,HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GOOD DAY XXX

Thanks for the tip regarding where to try for shoes .... I just might pop in next time in the UK though sometimes the fit varies, doesn't it?

Anybody doing anything this weekend? I think the farthest we shall be travelling is to go and get the dogs food - we normally buy it once a month and go as a special journey ( the place is about 25 mins drive there ) That way the weight is not added to the weekly shop.

Yes we're back to just the 2 of us. Next lot the beginning of June but you never know. The phone has been known to ring late in the week and someone announcing they've just picked up flights cheaply and will be with us in a few days. As long as we get 24 hrs notice it's fine. One day it'll be just boarding see you in 5 hrs. :-S.

I've had a cousin find a very cheap winter holiday and get 3 weeks for 2. She was based in Limassol and got on a couple of buses to get here. She was going to just knock at the door but couldn't find the house. We had to retrieve her from the local café. Our street doesn't have a name plate so no-one knew where it was. :-D

All washing out having a drink before going upstairs :-(

Dizzi it doesn't matter what day it is, I don't know most of the time and to be honest don't care :-D.
