Morning all :-)

Dizzi if that's headache is from yesterday's fall get it checked out.

Was in the supermarket at 8 am this morning. Got up, straight in the shower and then out. It was 28 C already so another warm day. There were many others with the same idea of get shopping done before it gets hotter. Back home by 9 am.

Now this will of course surprise you ladies. Usually do the shopping with OH but with his back the way it is decided last night to go shopping on my own. I know - it's brave of me ;-). Straight round the shop, no messing about looking at things we won't buy and for some reason the total was much cheaper than usual and I had bought 4 litres of his wine, total cost just under 42 Euros that's about £31. Maybe I should go on my own more often :-D

Have a great day all :-) <3

Hello All

Well done Dizzi. The scooter will give you much more independence and sure to make you feel a lot better. Hope it blows your headache away, remember though,
NO SPEEDING!!

Pat, perhaps you should leave your OH at home more often and do the shopping by yourself if you can manage that. Hope that his back pain improves before too long.

Hope everyone has a good day today.

Morning All :-D

I know... I know... I've been missing for a few days now - and I probably won't be regular for quite a few more.
'Coz, I'm not 'over there' at the moment .... I am now 'over here' :-D :-D :-D

Congratulations Dizzi !! I am very happy for you and your mobility scooter and you'll get the hang of it in no time, I'm sure. I'm going to think of you as whizzy-Dizzi from now on :-D :-D :-D

Hope you are keeping well Pat, and that it's getting warmer for you ;-)

Hi to Kandj.... Will have to go now, this Connection isn't too good :-) <3
It's taking me ages to write this :-(

Morning all :-)

Temperature 22 C very windy. :-( Yesterday one of the chairs on the front patio ended up in the drive, the wind is nearly as strong today.

Glad you're enjoying your trips out Dizzi.

OH's back a little better but he's still not so mobile.

If I did all the shopping I don't think OH would be happy Kandj. I refuse to get his cigarettes as I hate them. He didn't need any this week as he buys a carton at a time which lasts some time. I have no problem going shopping but I like to go early before he gets up, he likes to go about 2 pm, both are quiet times. He gets up about 1 hour after I do as he does his exercises for his back on the bed. It takes just over 35 minutes 4 times a week and 45 minutes the other 3 days. I can drive to the supermarket, do the shopping and drive back in that hour. :-)

I'm well thanks Solrosen but after a couple of warmer days it's cooled down again and got very windy. We aren't due a Coptic Gale until July so I don't understand why we still have this cool, strong wind. :-S

Enjoy yourself Solrosen and tell us all about it when back at home.

Have a good day all :-) <3

No early morning call from you again today :-(

It is a warm though cloudy day here in Sussex, the sounds of birdsong masked by the buzz of mowers.

In our garden the robins are darting in behind John as he strolls up & down 'painting' those stripes down the garden.

B* mowers B* pollen making my nose & eyes run again

Evening all. Still shaken about Dizzi :-( Can't believe she's gone. Her poor family.

Stayed up watching Eurovision, haven't watched it for years. Because of time difference went to bed at 02.30. :-S

I had just got up when the phone rang so chatted for about 30 mins with friend then sorted out and ate our breakfast. OH had a very slow walk to the newsagents and I washed up. Put laptop on to come online and decided to make another cup of tea, as I stood up there was someone walking across our patio, it was a Cypriot friend of ours who now lives in UK. She had come back for just a few days as a relative was having a Christening. She didn't know whether she could get to see us so hadn't said she was coming to Cyprus. She got a friend to drop her off as she was going visiting near here. It was almost our lunch time when she went but no sooner had I'd got on here and another friend turned up. Goodbye to lunch. We've had an early dinner :-)

It's been 27 C today very little wind but quite a few clouds. Quite pleasant to sit and chat all day. Very lazy day :-D

Nice to see you on here Carol.

Should we keep this thread going in Dizzi's memory?

Hope you all have a good evening. <3

Morning all.

23 C and very still. Hazy sky and horizon, can't see the Med at the moment.

Pile of washing to do but I don't think it will take too long to dry today. :-)

Still feels odd not seeing Dizzi on here. :-(

OH always asked how Dizzi was and what had she been up to. It started when I laughed out loud at some of her antics. He just asked what was funny and I started to tell him about her. When I told him about her scooter and how she was warning the world that she had been let loose he started laughing at the thought. He was shocked when I told him on Saturday what had happened.

Have a good day all <3

I think it would be lovely to keep this thread going, but if her account is cancelled by her family it will go.

Perhaps if that happens we could start a new 'Dizzi's Roll Call' in her memory.

A lovely sunny day here in Sussex, the family are coming later so pushing that noisy sucky thing round & moving dust.

Need to bake but not feeling like it... you loved my cakes didn't you Dizz?

Hello Everyone

Sue, I am another who is still trying to get my head around lovely Dizzi having fun on her new scooter one day and then reading the posting that Dizzi had died!!!! Just unbelievable and a huge shock. It just seems so unreal and so hard to take in.
My thoughts and prayers (along with many others no doubt) are with her family and close friends as they are forced to come to terms with brave Dizzi's death now.

Overcast here so far but the forecast is weather meant to be dry and sunny, so the washing machine is on the go and fingers crossed the clothes will dry later today.

Carol, there is plenty of activity getting lawns back into shape after the Winter months. I love to see stripes on the grass and the smell of freshly cut grass too.
Sounds like you are a hay fever sufferer as is our Grandson and it's not good time with revising and exam time now.

Pat,how lovely for you to have your visitors call and spend time with you yesterday.
Hope your OH's back pain is easing a little so he can feel more comfortable.

Hi to Solrosen, hope you are enjoying being "over here"

Take care everybody.
