The house always smelt wonderful in the days leading up to Christmas.....Christmas cake, puddings, mince pies and also (every morning) a strange smell of paint? :-S...which when, older, I found was the enamel paint Santa's elves used, to paint our dolls' house and my brother's garage and fort :-D |
