Got all the decorations down from the attic this morning, only to find that the Christmas tree lights don't work :-( :-(

So we have a forlorn, undecorated tree - looks even worse than yours, GP :-D ;-) ;-)

There's always another day GiN.

Had grand daughter over this morning wrapping
her presents for Amelia...you remember the ones
that took over my back bedroom.... After she had
finished and R helped her load up the car she says
does she have enough....I was speechless for once :-D :-D

Emma - My Ancestors - The Balfours from Kirkaldy were very generous people. At Xmas they gave everyone in the street a bottle of Malt Whisky (Miniatures) :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D ;-) ;-) ;-)

Kids get overwhelmed at Christmas these days :-D :-D

Must do some present wrapping myself sometime soon, as we're going over to see OH's family midweek, and deliver cards and pressies. It's all go at this time of year :-0 :-D ;-)

Christmas has become stressful for a lot of people, Emma, and I don't like the commercial spendfest that it's become. :-|

It's just plain silly to get into debt over what should be a happy time. :-(
