The Specialist Nurse wrote a brilliant letter to the council for us after his first application was denied, we were so grateful to them :-)

silly question when you think about it and look at me.

Fly I have only been asked once to return my expired
badge.
It will be much harder to get one now and I agree with
you about them being lax in getting them back. :-)

We shall be glad of his Badge next week as he has to go see his consultant and the New Hospital is a bleddy nightmare where parking is concerned :-| :-|

Emma my mum used to have Blue Badge and when she passed away i notified everyone but they did not ask me to send the badge back :-0 is there any wonder they get misused :-S i did burn it by the way :-)

I don't use mine Barbs, haven't driven in years since
RA affected my movements...I'd be a danger on the roads
that's if I was able to get the hand brake off :-D :-D :-D :-D


Edit...Barbs the assessment only came in 2years ago
as the badge was being misused :-)

That's been my first time Barbs :-)

My new badge will last for three years but she
said I just need to apply when the three years
are up for another one, no assessment required. :-D
