WALES v FIJI

This Saturday, November 15th Kick-Off 2.30pm


BIG CHANGES TO THE WALES TEAM!

Warren Gatland has changed more than half the team for the match against Fiji on Saturday.

In last weeks game against The Wallabies, there were a number of injuries.

LEIGH HALFPENNY had to be replaced. He was found to have sustained a CONCUSSION.will not be fit to play on Saturday.

LIAM WILLIAMS, who played at number 11 last week, now takes over at Full-Back (15) from Leigh.

RHYS PRIESTLAND starts at Fly-Half (10) as DAN BIGGAR sustained a groin injury. Rhys Priestland was called to replace him in last weeks match.
Without Leigh, or Dan, Rhys will do the kicking duties.

JAMES HOOK, originally left out of the squad, has been drafted in, and is on the replacement bench. No doubt players with kicking skills are now urgently needed.

RHYS WEBB (Scrum-Half 9) was also a casualty of last week's game. He has a neck injury. So MIKE PHILLIPS is returned to his usual position.

JONATHAN DAVIES is still not fit to play.

SAM WARBURTON (7) is replaced by JUSTIN TIPURIC.

GETHIN JENKINS is back at Loose-Head Prop (1) and takes the Captaincy in the absence of Sam.

GEORGE NORTH returns to his number 11 shirt (Left Wing)

SCOTT BALDWIN has his first Wales start this week. He takes over as Hooker (2) in place of Richard Hibbard.

ALUN-WYN JONES is on the bench with LUKE CHARTERIS starting at number 5.


BRADLEY DAVIES replaces Jake Ball at number 4.

Following the injury of Dan Biggar during the Wales v Australia game last Saturday, some Wales supporters thought it would be clever to BOO his replacement Rhys Priestland! :-( :-(

This hounding then continued on Facebook and other social media, to the point that Rhys is now considering giving up his career!

So Welsh Booers..
....... Where was RESPECT? ..Where was FAIRNESS? ... Where was FELLOWSHIP?



Now, I have to admit, I am not Rhys' biggest fan, as I prefer Leigh Halfpenny for the Goal Kicking and Dan Biggar as Fly-Half, who is also a good kicker.

However, Rhys is a strong member of the Wales team, and does well in all aspects of the game. Sometimes his kicking lets him down.

The biggest problem with Rhys is that he loses confidence in himself. Obviously not the best thing to suffer with if you are a rugby player.

In 2012, Rhys sought the help of sport psychologist Andy McCann after experiencing criticism from fans at games and on social media.

HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ENCOURAGED NOT JEERED AT!

Warren Gatland has faith in Rhys! Wales' trainer, Shaun Edwards also rates him...
.....so we now need to get behind him too!
