Very interesting article Rhys :-)
Thank you for posting it!
The powers that be are selling out their fans! My gripe is with the selling out the television rights to companies like Sky! :-|
The English and the Irish fans were prevented from watching their game. England fans could only get Highlights unless they had Sky Sports. I could not find a channel that even did Highlights for the Irish Fans. :-|
I had to take out a deal with Sky last year, in order to see The Lions!:-|
What with the emergence of rival companies, like BT for example, who are in competition for the games, fans who have taken out Sky Sports may find that now the match they want to see is now on BT! :-|
I'm just hoping the WRU does not go down this route. We were fortunate this time, that we were able to see Wales' Autumn Internationals on both BBC and S4C. Scotland too were able to watch their game on BBC.
I await the 6 Nations and The Rugby World Cup with baited breath! :-( :-(

WARREN GATLAND: WALES v NEW ZEALAND MATCH
Warren Gatland had this to say about our Wales team following their defeat by the All Blacks last Saturday-
" I was really PROUD of the performance today (Saturday) and the EFFORT and COMMITMENT that the guys have put into the game..... We gave it everything and you can't ask for anymore from the players".
"Wales was brilliant in defence" he said. He talked about the number of turnovers, and that the boys put The All Blacks under pressure. He also said the Wales "Rattled them" and that "they looked rattled".
He said that The All Blacks executed their kicking strategy very well, and at critical moments, this is what enabled them to come off the victors. This is what makes the the best team in the world, he said, and that Wales' players will learn from the experience.
The crowds were behind the boys, and were very excited when, with only 11 minutes left of the game, Wales was winning 16-15. They must have been so hopeful of a win- the first time for 61 years since Wales last beat the All Blacks.
Sadly, it wasn't to be!

WALES NEWS
Warren Gatland has postponed his announcement of his team to face South Africa on Saturday.
Injuries sustained at the Wales v New Zealand match last Saturday has forced this delay, for the management / coaching staff to know who will be fit to play.
Rhys Webb, who scored the Try against The All Blacks, has sustained a groin injury.
George North suffered a bad laceration above the eye, and may not be able to play on Saturday.
There is also uncertainty over whether Gethin Jenkins, who was not fit to play last week, will be able to take his usual position of Loose-Head Prop (1)
We need a strong, experienced side to face the South Africa Springboks 2nd Best Rugby Union side in the World, so Gatland is not making a decision until later this week.
Also injured during last Saturday's match was young Nicky Smith, who has come up through the ranks from the Under 20s Wales side.
Nicky sustained injury to a pectoral muscle and was seen clutching his chest as he was helped from the pitch.
