I spent day with an extremely knowledgable + talented lady we decided just to look at the mini exhibition + do the main 1 another day .( with other people ).We chose to make the most of the nice weather to do the trail . Heather helped me remember the order of Kings + who was who's wife + pointed out battle site ,old site names of churches etc . We checked in the book shop to see if they stocked "walks around leicestershire country parks" by Heather Macdermid apparently they fly of the shelves like hotcakes . So proud to be her daughter ...love it when I see "Halls houses+ Hovels; a history of houses in Great Glen" especially as i can show folks the picture of my lovely Granparents Maisie + Ted Jones on front inside cover . |
