To all kindly people who replied, thank you all, both my old friends
and new ones. Further to Laura Wellings--in 1851 census I think, maybe
1861 ?? She was found staying with the Jukes family , sometimes spelt
Dukes. But there was also a strange visitor staying with Jukes--
Whilst Fewtrells farmed next to Dukes, yet Eliza was staying with the
Dukes (blacksmith) family. (The visitor was from U S; if I remember right??)
Job for a detective.!!
But these Jukes had spent sometime in US, or there relies had.
And her mother was staying with the Fewtrel family on the census.
across the fields, odd to say the least.!
