Reading in the paper today that Wolf Hall written
by Hilary Mantel has been made for TV, it launches
later this month on BBC2.
How BC would have loved this, wonder if Bring Up The Bodies
will also follow, we enjoyed reading these books. <3 <3

Hi Emma I thought that too. I first read Wolf Hall after BC (Mo) recommended it to me during one of our visits.

Hi Mau,
I remember saying to her that it was coming on TV
at some point, hope they make the sequel also.
She had an image in her head who would play Thomas
Cromwell, it will be Mark Rylance, hope he is dishy as BC had a thing for him
while reading the books. lol <3

My sentiments too Joy !

I had the enormous pleasure of meeting BC at several London Meets

The last one was her making a visit just because she wanted to say hello even though she wasn't feeling that good and was going through her treatment .

We had a long talk which was more her asking how our daughter was having been through chemo for Hodgkins

I expressed my concern that she had her own health problem as wasn't aware of it as she didn't say anything on the open threads on genes

She was immaculately dressed as usual with a tartan throw over her shoulder . My abiding memory of her now , she made very light of own diagnoses and stayed for some time

A lovely lady , very much missed <3

Nothing I enjoyed more Shirley than sitting in BC s garden
waiting for the fairy lights to come on
and on the day of her funeral
two rainbows appeared

and I knew it was a message she was at peace :-D :-D :-D

What an amazing person she was <3 :-D

Still miss her so much. <3 <3

I thought of BC on St Patricks day. We were away and there was a special entertainment for St Patrick's day with a little cardboard lepricorn on the stage. I always used to make her a special card. I missed doing that this year.

wow BC you always wanted a sticky and yours has lasted 7 months.

Totally agree Stray , BC so so loved by many GR peeps , i miss her banter and so sad we never went to the archives :( R I P BC hope ya tartan trolly is keeping ya valuables safe xx
