This programme, in 3 parts, was fascinating. I like Charlie Hamilton James (hubby to Philippa Forrest) and seeing him puzzling over how best to manage his piece of rainforest was really interesting, as well as seeing the many problems the people living there have.

I hope his plans go well and that Elias doesn't mess up his chance to earn good money and make good the forest area he has been using. I hope too his wife has a healthy baby and that their little girl will improve as she gets older so she can become more independent. Such a tragic accident made her so badly handicapped.

It's amazing that there are potentially many cures for cancer and other illnesses in the rainforest if only they could be channelled in the right direction.
