My son came this morning cut and strimmed both lawns in no time at all. I said whatever he's on I want some ;-) ;-) ;-)

It only cost me 2 lemon curd tarts and a coffee :-D :-D :-D

Phew it's been a scorcher :-D :-D

The big fish have been doing rudies all day and little ums have been keeping a low profile :-D :-D

Feeling a bit brighter after a few hours in bed :-) :-)

OH is making us a Cottage pie, having bought me a bunch of lovely flowers. Humble Pie methinks :-D :-D

I had a bad fright yesterday. I nearly set the house on fire!
A big spider came running in and wouldn't go in a jug! While trying to deal with that, I was also making burgers in the grill for Grandson. A big spat of fat hit the element as I was taking the grill out and the whole grillpan went up in flames.

Thing is- I lost my Dad and home when I was just 18 in a fire, so it really freaked me out and OH was shouting at me, as he is not the most patient of people! :-| :-| :-|
He was sorry later, hence the flowers! :-) :-)

So I'M being looked after today- for a change! :-D :-D
