Well done all. You can do it with a little encouragement and we'll all be sooooooooooooo slim

Jude stop weighing yourself so often. I tell by my clothes don't bother with scales, my doc does that for me. :-) <3

Sorry haven't added much recently have been in UK as my last aunt died. A whole generation in our family has now gone. As my daughter said - well you're the next lot then. There are times ........... :-S lol

Isn't it strange how different we are.

No calorie or point counting for me but pasta, potatoes and baked beans are all out of my diet as all high in carbs. On your diet I'd be putting weight on. lol :-D

Hello Martynsue....yes l did know that. Also that you can eat eggs and potatoes cooked any way aslong as they not cooked in fat...JUST USE THE FAT FREE SPRAY, also baked beans. l often have a couple of h/boiled eggs in the fridge for snacks, l buy nice cuts of ham, cut any fat off for another snack. Any meat is free as long as you cut the fat off, same with bacon, but either grill it or use Fat Free spray.

in the 4 weeks he has been doing this diet he has lost 1 stone 6 pounds,he was bursting with confidence last night after his weigh in.

Pleased you have been sucessful.

Unfortunately - at least for my food intake - we had visitors last weekend and more to come tomorrow. We have been out for meals and eaten all the wrong things. However everyone goes by Sunday and I have a week of peace and quiet next week to get back on the straight and narrow before I dare to weigh myself

Excellent. I love salmon. Special offer on smoked trout at store so I did a smoked trout risotto with home grown asparagus last night. I skipped the cheese in it and just put it in the OH's meal (Eggs for supper tonight!)

I am catching you up with 6lbs to go at the moment. Working potting up plants in a friends garden for 6 hours yesterday must have helped. It does stop you snacking on food!! The days of soft summer fruit are starting and a local farm sells wonderful strawberries. Mixed with vanilla fat free yoghurt they are actually better than chocolate!!!

I cook it for over an hour, but it really variable as our Rayburn has is not always as fast as a normal cooker so I wait until the onions and pots are cooked before putting on the rest.

I managed 2 pounds this week amazingly after eating at a friends one night but he did serve baked cod. Only 8 pounds to catch you up. The hot weather helps with salad and fruit for lunch being wonderful and all the exercise from gardening

Sounds a nice recipe.

To date my favourite is potato and onion cut into chunks and roasted with the spray. For the last 20 mins put in some small tomatoes, sugar snap peas, salmon fillet and the juice/zest of a lemon. Mouth watering :-) Followed by frozen raspberries with fat free vanilla yoghurt

Thats good too K, having someone thats poorly is an extra worry, especially when you are trying to encourage them to eat, so concentrating on dieting is'nt easy....keep up with what ever it is you are doing as you have still lost 2lbs :-) :-)

The other day l made aload of pasta, added a tin of tuna, onion, tin chopped toms and garlic, ate some for days on the trot and froze the rest. Today l had some more and added baked beans...really nice and everything in it is FREE. l had salad with it before :-) :-)

Sorry to be a pain but l am back :-) :-) :-)

Been abit of a struggle to lose weight this past week, now weigh 11st 6lbs...from 12 stone in a month, so l'm ok about that. Need to get to grips with a few aspects of the diet and get Vic trained not to add butter and milk to things.
l won't give up thats for sure :-)
