Bless him.
What a rollercoaster life he leads.!

I hope he enjoys his jaunt around the village,no doubt thinking up what they can get up to in the days ahead.

Seriously though, I hope he feels alot better, so that you too can relax just a bit.

He is still well spaced out but we do try to keep up a normal life for him as far as is possible.

I don't want him lying in bed being a poor sick old man.

Bless him, he wants to be out and about in his mind even if his body doesn't. Well done his mate for getting him out and about, he is a star, where would you be without him? I hope the medications can stabilise the sodium levels for him.

I don't think I had heard of low sodium levels before. Is there a diet that can correct it?

It was new to me but sounds like it might be quite common. He is not to drink more than a litre a day, which he doesn't anyway.

I asked the doctor about giving him more salt on is food but he said it was dangerous to bring it up too quickly.

Paramedics have been out yet again. Waiting for the out of hours doctor yet again.

Truthfully, I would have left it a bit longer for the antibiotics to kick in but the carers were worried so I suggested they ring 999.

He didn't sleep well last night so he is tired and he had a prolonged coughing fit, not out of the ordinary that, but I think it has knackered him.

On it goes.

I rang Out of Hours because I can't stay awake much longer.

They rang me back and a lovely, kind sounding Indian lady doctor has said I can have a visit in the morning.

He is more quiet now so I hope he is sleeping more comfortably because I am buggered!

A Lullabye for Fred.........

Dearest Fred, sweetly sleep, do not stir
We will lend a coat of fur
We will rock you, rock you, rock you
We will rock you, rock you, rock you
See the fur to keep you warm
Snugly round your tiny form.

Dearest Fred, sleep, sweetly sleep
Sleep in comfort, slumber deep
We will rock you, rock you, rock you
We will rock you, rock you, rock you
We will serve you all we can.
Darling, darling little man.....

Shhhhhhh........... <3 <3 <3

Hope Fred got a reasonable night's rest and you were able to get some sleep too Sharron.

Also hope the Dr comes promptly and does more to help Fred. He must be fed up with feeling so poorly but good that he got out for a little while - his mate is so good to him.

Wishing you a better day

Well, I am awake and so is Fred.

I can hear him downstairs and he does not sound as bad as yesterday.

To be really honest, I would not have called Out of Hours but have let his medication take it's time for him to heal but the carers see people who are ill every day and I bow to their experience.

Just hoping my phone message to the carers that he is at home and still needs them to get him up has been received.

I think he slept well, I didn't hear much in the night but I think I must have slept as well.

Just hearing carers come in now. He is awake and responding to them. Sounds like he is laying it on a bit. Wants to get up he is telling them.
