That's if anyone else is still around. Sorry about lack of "postcard" yesterday, nobody could get the internet to work at the hotel we stayed at last night.
I had a lovely day yesterday. We visited an ostrich farm, wher I had an ostrich "neck massage" - you hold a tub of food, then the birds peck at it from behind, and they sort of rub your neck - wierd but nice!
In the afternoon, I fulfilled one of my life's ambitions - I petted a cheetah! It was magic, and she purred really loudly!
Have arrived in Cape Town today. We are staying in a 5 star hotel overlooking Table Mountain and the Waterfront - very nice, but a bit posh and pretentious. Tomorrow, we're going up Table mountain by cable car inh the morning, then over to Robben Island in the afternoon.
I asked our guide about Dung Beetles, and he said they are only active in the Spring (it's Autumn here now), so that's why I haven't seen any! I wonder what they do the rest of the year? :-S :-S :-D ;-)
Flyng home Wednesday night, arriving back around midday Thursday. It's been fantastic, but I'm getting a bit tired now.
