It's the colour for ovarian cancer. March is ovarian cancer awareness month, and I'm an ovarian cancer survivor :-) :-) :-) :-)

I've been all clear since 2003, and I can't believe how lucky I am, as I had it as bad as it gets, stage 4 -pretty rare to recover from that.

But, that's all long ago, and I love to live life to the full! :-D :-D :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

Had a lovely chat with my sister in law (my younger brother's wife) on the phone for about 3/4 hour. Haven't spoken to her in ages. It's 10 years today my mum died, so I thought I'd ring. My brother was out though when I rang. He's a DJ and had a function tonight.

I'm absolutely fine these days, girls - apart from a patchwork stomach! :-D :-D :-D

It's all such a long time ago, and I'm one very lucky Lass. But I will say one thing - it's not easy to diagnose, and you need to pester your doctor if you think you have symptoms - look on the sites. Took nearly 2 years for me to be diagnosed - not easy then.

On a lighter note, it hasn't dampened my ardour! :-D :-D :-D ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

It's not for me you'll be doing it for, though, I'm one of the lucky ones. The two women who had the operation the same day as me in Addenbrookes Hospital didn't survive their 5 years. They say only one in 3 survive that long, so I'm that one. I've a lot to be grateful for.
