I had an epidural when I had my daughter, but it wasn't very successful. I had one as a post operative pain killer when I had my big op in 2002, and it was marvellous - except having it put in was very uncomfortable - had to grip the theatre orderly's hand!
(well, he was a nice young man! ;-)

G had an epidural when he had his prostate done.

fell out of bed and was prostrate on the floor !!!!!!
